For projects that require engineering sign off or certification, we can provide RPEQ, CPEng & NPER engineering signatures with all of our solutions. Structural Engineering Design Services

Providing solutions to our clients engineering challenges for over a decade, our team brings a wealth of experience in structural engineering services to your project, including:

  • Residential slab and foundation design:  We design foundation systems to suit a wide range of applications and have experience with single and multiple storey dwellings. Soil classification and testing can be assessed by Civil Consult and we can develop the most efficient and cost effective design for your site. Whatever your soil type our Geotechnical team will assess your site so that the best solution for your build is reached.
  • Tie down and bracing:  Our team has experience in design and documentation for tie down and bracing schedules. For timber framed residential structures this is completed to AS 1684. Tie downs are used to ensure the structural adequacy of the interconnection of the various framing members in a house. Permanent bracing shall be provided to enable the roof, wall and floor framework to resist horizontal forces applied to the building.
  • Sizing structural members: Design, certification and documentation of structural member such a beam, columns can be undertaken by our team to ensure that specific aspects of your build are considered and certified. For steel members design will be undertaken in accordance with relevant Australia Standards including AS 1170, and AS 4100. Our approach ensures appropriate engineering solutions are provided to suit every client’s specific and unique needs.
  • Suspended Slab design: Our designers will ensure the technical requirements of relevant Australian Standards (As 3600) are met which confirms the minimum requirements for the design and construction of safe, serviceable and durable concrete structures is met.
